Mr. Say Chhum, chairman of the Permanent Central Committee and Secretary-General of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and Mr Bin Chhin, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, accompanied by Gen. Kun Kim, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Cambodian Armed Forces, have visited Ta Krabey temple (pictured) 0n 15th September 2009 to pray for peace and to visit the Cambodian soldiers based in the areas.
At the temple, Mr. Say Chhum and Mr. Bin Chhin as well as Gen. Kun Kim have lighted candles, incense as well as made food offerings to the spirit to ask for peace along the border areas.
Mr. Say Chhum also praised the bravery of the border soldiers based at Ta Krabey temple. He also praised them for giving up everything in the defence of the Cambodian territorial integrity and society.
