PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Around 100 victims of land grabbing from Kratie province rallied Tuesday near residence of Prime Minister Hun Sen, but were blocked by police forces.
They represented 329 families in Snoul district, a place of land dispute with a private company.
In a letter to Hun Sen, they said that they have controlled and harvested crops on the land since before 2000, and until 2008 there was a private company bulldoze their plants.
They later left the gathering site near Hun Sen's residence after their letter was accepted.
