King Sihamoni, through recommendation from Prime Minister Hun Sen, has sacked Mrs. Sam Monyka from her position as Secretary of State of Ministry of Tourism for forcibly demanding $4000 in compensation from a poor taxi driver after his taxi carrying Mrs Sam Monyka and her friends veered off the road, causing her emotionally shocked, then donated the money to the Cambodian Red Cross headed by Mr. Hun Sen's wife, Bun Rany. The Red Cross angrily rejected her donation.
The report said that the taxi driver apologized to her twice, but she still strongly demands the compensation.

រឿងរ៉ាវនេះ បានធ្វើឲ្យលោកស្រីទទួលរងនូវការរិះគន់យ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ជាពិសេសការលាដៃទទួលយកលុយ៤០០០ដុល្លារអាមេរិកពីជនក្រីក្រ បើទោះបីជាលោក គឹម ពិសិដ្ឋ ដែលជាម្ចាស់រថយន្តធ្វើការសុំទោសរហូតដល់ទៅពីរលើកក៏ដោយ។

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Mrs. Sam Monika was ousted from her post as Secretary of State of Ministry of Tourism, following her recent complaint against a taxi driver after non-harmful road accident.
Sam Monika was fired through the King Norodom Sihamoni's royal decree dated November 19, as request by Prime Minister Hun Sen.
The royal decree was publicly announced on November 21.
Sam Monika was strongly criticized by public after she sued the taxi driver and asked him to pay her and other three friends $4,000 in compensation to a non-harmful traffic accident.
While she and other passengers on the van from Phnom Penh to Rotanakiri, the van broke down and fell off the road. But the accident caused no harm to the passengers inside the van.
She filed a complaint against the driver for his carelessness and asked for USD 4, 000 in compensation.
The driver could not afford and then there was a public campaign via Facebook to raise the money to support him. The campaign could collect USD 4, 000 to pay Mrs.Sam Monika who was under serious criticism for her tough action against the driver.

This is a case of greeds and abusing power using her position to distorts the poor Khmer folks that has no connection to the elite-political thugs,therefore,it should be the lesson for all crooks and greeds from well connects to Cpp regime can learns from,greeds will lead you to crime,greeds will lead you to desaster,greeds will lead to shame yourself when get caught like Sam Monika is a prime example for all crooks/greeders/corruptors,power abusers in Namafia regime of THUGS to learns from.Amen!
