Memorial for war heroes of Vietnam, Cambodia debuts

TUOITRENEWS
UPDATED : 12/10/2014
A memorial monument for Vietnamese and Cambodian soldiers who perished saving Cambodia from genocide was inaugurated in Cambodia’s northeastern province of Stung Treng on Tuesday.

Seated on a 5,000 square meter area on a hill, the monument features Vietnamese and Cambodian soldiers fighting side by side to protect two Cambodian children, according to the Vietnam News Agency.

The work was funded by donations of officers and soldiers of Army Corp 15 under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Tia Banh expresses his thanks for the Vietnamese Government, army and people for supporting Cambodia during its cause of national independence, construction and development.

The official said the Cambodian government and people highly appreciated the great role of Vietnamese voluntary soldiers in supporting the Cambodian people in toppling the Khmer Rouge regime and helping the Cambodian army prevent the return of the genocidal regime in 1979-1989.

For the interests of the two peoples, the Cambodian army will continue to strengthen cooperation with their Vietnamese counterpart in the future.

In addition, he said, local authorities and people along the shared borderline between the two countries will further work together to build a borderline of peace, stability and prosperity.

Why do we build memorial for the invaders and the expansionists?

Unless we are Yuon's puppet, we should not build any shit for this neocolonialist Vietnam.

Begin of Drgunzet's comment.

The memorial has been built for war heroes not invaders, not expansionists. Clearly, the Vietnamese and Cambodians soldiers defeated the Khmer Rouges, saved a lot of Cambodians. Weren't they war heroes?

Let me ask a simple question: Is there a way such that the Vietnamese soldiers can topple the Khmer Rouges without entering Cambodia?

By entering Cambodia, it did not mean Vietnam invaded Cambodia. United Nations' troops entered Cambodia after the Paris Accord in 1993. Did it mean United Nations invaded Cambodia?

One time I witnessed some South East Asian guys (probably tainted with Khmer rape genes) were pressing a very attractive girl against the table so that one guy could kiss her on the lips. I asked them to stop and they used the Khmer style to challenge me. They accused me of invading their area and we almost had a fist fight. They accused me of trying to steal the girl from them.

(The next day, the girl asked my friend to give her my cell phone number so that she can thank me.)

And yes, these Khmer-like guys accused me of trying to woe the girl, stealing her from them. They viewed the girl belongs to them and they can do anything they want to her.

For humanity, we must have light-skinned Asians to rule over dark-skinned Asians. As a kid, I used to fight dark-skinned skids. They were very much Khmer like, and evil. Their logic was: We are stronger and have the right to punish anyone who were weak. They said, "If you don't want to be beat up, get stronger."

They also gave themselves the right to rape girls, "If you don't like to be raped, don't walk at night." That's Khmer logic alright.

-Drgunzet-

P.S. I believe in light-skinned logic. The land concession was put all sale. We light-skinned have the money to buy, fair and squared. The land title gives us the right to kick out any Khmer squatters on the lands.

If Khmers don't want to be kicked out, buy your own land concessions.

I know the Khmer claimed its their lands since they have been living on it for a long time. But look, we also know the Khmers are liars. It's difficult to deal with the Khmers.

Drgunzet, you're full of shit. You need to study the English language a lot more, particularly your writing skill, your grammar and punctuation are so horrible.
Your presentation demostrated yourself as very illiterate, in contrast to your claim as superior and lighted complexion. I think you are a pathetic and scumbag individual. I don't believe you ever educated yourself and earning a comfortable living for yourself and your family. Moreover, I do not believe that you are living the
American dream.
