PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Apsara Authority has opened investigation into naked photos of a woman taken at Angkor Wat temple.
The half nude photos of likely Chinese woman were circulated online this week, and were strongly criticized.
In its statement Saturday, the Apsara Authority in charge of the protection and management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap province strongly condemned this act, saying that those naked photos completely opposed Cambodian moral and culture, and seriously downgraded heritage and dignity of women.
It announces to find the truth and is committed to implementing law to convict this kind of inconsiderable acts.
Meanwhile, the Apsara Authority sought cooperation among public in providing information which could fast lead to find the truth and restore reputation of Cambodian civilization.
