The opposition party met with Mr. Rodney Elliot, the mayor of Lowell of Massachusetts

ក្នុងជំនួបជាមួយលោក Rodney Elliot អភិបាលក្រុង Lowell និងគណៈប្រតិភូ នៃរដ្ឋ Massachusetts សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ខ្ញុំ កឹម សុខា និង លោក សម រង្ស៊ី
បានស្នើសុំអភិបាលក្រុងLowell ដែលមានប្រជាពលរដ្ឋខ្មែររស់នៅទីនោះប្រមាណជា ៣០% លើកក្នុងជំនួបជាមួយមន្រី្តគណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា នូវការទាមទាររបស់ពួកគាត់នូវសិទ្ធិបោះឆ្នោត និងការចូលរួមរបស់ពួកគាត់ក្នុងការធ្វើសេចក្ដីសម្រេចចិត្ត ដើម្បីជ្រើសរើសមេដឹកនាំខ្មែរ តាមរយៈការបង្កើតឲ្យមានយន្ដការចុះឈ្មោះបោះឆ្នោត និង ស្ថានីយ៍បោះឆ្នោតនៅទីនោះ។ ទន្ទឹមគ្នានេះដែរ ខ្ញុំ និងលោក សម រង្ស៉ី បានស្នើឲ្យលោកអភិបាលក្រុង លើកជាមួយអភិបាលក្រុងភ្នំពេញ អំពីការចោទប្រកាន់ និងការកាត់ទោសដាក់ពន្ធនាគារនៃស្រី្តរងគ្រោះតំបន់បឹងកក់ ដោយយើងសំណូមពរឲ្យលោកសុំការអនុញ្ញាតទៅជួបសួរសុខទុក្ខក្រុមស្រ្ដីទាំងនោះនៅពន្ធនាគារ និង ទៅពិនិត្យមើលដោយជាក់ស្តែង នូវផ្ទះសម្បែងរបស់ស្រ្ដីទាំងនោះក្នុងតំបន់បឹងកក់ ដែលរងគ្រោះដោយការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍មិនស្រប។ 
រសៀលថ្ងៃអង្គារ ទី១៣ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០១៤ វិមានរដ្ឋសភា។

In the meeting with Mr. Rodney Elliot, Mayor of Lowell City, Massachusetts, United States, I, Kem Sokha and Mr. Sam Rainsy have requested the Mayor to convey to the ruling CPP a demand of Cambodian people, who are accounted for approximately 30% of Lowell’s population, the rights to cast their ballots and rights to participation in decision-making to select their country political leaders by establishing mechanisms and facilities to enable them to register their and to cast their ballots. At the same time, we have also requested the Lowell City Mayor to raise issues in the meeting with the Phnom Penh Governor concerning the charges brought against Boeung Kak Lake’s women by the Governor and their conviction to imprisonment. We requested that the Mayor seeks permission to visit those convicted women in Prey Sar Prison as well as to conduct on-site visit to see how their homes being affected by inappropriate development project.
