It's a scam. They are trying to rip off the money from the people.
First, why don't they scan the map into electronic files, post it on the internet. Let people see and debate the merit of the maps.
Let other Khmer groups decide the merits and print the maps later if they choose to.

The 3 Khmer Krom monks complained that the Vietnamese officers took their 2 iPhones and a Galaxy 6 smart phones, along with 300 dollars.

What kind of monks are the Khmer monks? I have never even owned a smart phone. My current phone is simple and costs 20 dollars.
Do you folks still want to donate to these fancy monks?
Why don't you donate your money to the poors on the streets of Phnom Penh?
You need to ask yourselves a question: Am I really helping anyone or I just help myself donating for the cause suiting my dream of a great Khmer.
If you are not helping, then you are really not helping anybody, but rather helping yourselves with the delusional dream of a greater Khmer.

I fully supported our Khmer Kampuchea Krom brothers & sisters. They were unlucky to be born in their own land but Youn claimed theirs. Results of our gullible past kings & officials. The lusts for Vietnamese women drove them to ceded half of our territories and left their peoples at Youn mercy. Sham on them !!!!
I would like to ask questions:
1. What benefits of these maps as our Prey Ngkor already lost ?
2. As large as Khmer Kampuchea Krom communities why so hard to get a few thousands dollars for copies ?
3. Do we still have slice chance of fight for our lost territories ?
4. How can a legit Cambodian government helps peoples of Kampuchea Krom as they are Vietnamese citizens ?
5. Most westerners are America & EU and these peoples with their fears the rise of China. They will kiss Youn a_ s to counter China. How are we be able to convince them to go against Youn. I don't mean to discourage our brothers KKrom but these are things that we must find ways to overcome.
congratulation for your researching for the original map and doccuments. Now time to bring them to court but first looking for a good lawyers to representing Khmer Krom then continue to raises money.
