PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Heng Samrin, President of the Cambodia's National Assembly, met Tuesday with his South Korean counterpart Chung Ui-Hwa at parliament’s secretariat.
At the meeting, Heng Samrin and Chung Ui-Hwa announced to strengthen more cooperation between the two countries’ legislative body.
Chung Ui-Hwa arrived in Cambodia on Monday for a three-day official visit.
Apart from the meeting with Heng Samrin, Chung Ui-Hwa will meet with Say Chhum, Acting President of the Senate and Prime Minister Hun Sen, according to announcement of the National Assembly.
Chung Ui-Hwa will preside over the inauguration ceremony of Cambodia-South Korea Friendship Eyes Care Center in Phnom Penh's Preah Ang Duong Hospital, it added.
